How to Create a New Apple ID on iPhone 17 Series?Introduction:
If you have purchased a new iPhone 17, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max, you will first need an Apple ID. Without it, you cannot download apps, use iCloud, or use 'Find My iPhone'. Follow the simple steps given below.
Method 1: Through Settings (Easiest Method)
If your iPhone is new and no ID is logged in:
Open Settings.
Tap on "Sign in to your iPhone" at the top.
The option "Don't have an Apple Account?" will appear on the screen, click on it.
Fill in your details and create your ID.
(Note: If the phone already has someone else's ID, or you want to create it through a browser, then use Method 2
Method 2: Through Website (Browser Method)
This method is best if you are creating your ID on someone else's phone or if there is an error in the settings.
Step 1: Go to the Website
Open the Safari browser on your iPhone.
In the address bar, type: https://www.google.com/url?sa=E&source=gmail&q=account.apple.com and press Go.
Step 2: Create Account Option
Once the page opens, you will see an Arrow (V) icon on the top right side, click on it.
From the list, select "Create your Apple Account".
Step 3: Fill in the Details
Now a form will open, fill in the correct details:
Name: Enter your First and Last Name.
Country/Region: Select your country (e.g., India, UK, USA).
Date of Birth: Enter your correct date of birth. Email ID: Enter your active email address here (This will become your Apple ID).
Password: Create a strong password (At least 8 characters, including 1 number, 1 capital letter, and 1 special character).
Step 4: Phone Number Verification
Enter your active mobile number.
Select "Text Message" so that the OTP arrives via SMS (The call option sometimes fails).
Step 5: Verification (Important)
Type the Captcha Code given below and click Continue.
Now Apple will send you 2 codes:
The first code will arrive in your email -> Enter it.
The second code will arrive on your phone number -> Enter it.
Step 6: Log In
Once verification is complete, your Apple ID will be created.
Now go back to your iPhone's Settings, tap "Sign in," and log in using your new email and password.
